It came to his life at the worst of times. Afalteriing love life, with a woman he still loves, a torturous job, with an incessant workplace bully, and struggling parents, relying on him to survive, while he struggles to do so himself. Timless that would give even the densest of spirits excessive wear and tear.
Their coexistence added more to his life problems, at first. Yet it appeared entirely benevolent, virtuous... powerful. It offered to solve all of his issues, an so he let it do so. Warnings were mad, but none were heeded. After all, it wishes no harm; it wishes to help. It wishes to help so much, with all of its might, all of its heart... and at every and all cost.
